Silent Auction Fire Pit

This was the easiest silent auction "basket" I have ever made!  Plus it is such a cute idea that you know will sell during the auction!

The fire pit is the best part!  But, I also added marshmallows, graham crackers, and hershey bars for smores along with extendable cooking forks, a cozy over-sized plush blanket, pumpkin candle, fall mugs, hot chocolate mix, apple cider mix, and pumpkin spice cookie mix.  Awesome!

To finish it off, I added orange, yellow, and red tissue paper and tied it all up with cellophane wrap and a giant red mesh bow!

Happy Fall Y'all Basket

I made a Happy Fall Y'all Basket for the school silent auction this year.  It turned out so cute!  We included a beautiful brown wicker basket, a large chevron "Harvest Blessing" pumpkin hanger or stand, an elegant red velvet plush throw, an ornate decorative owl, a tin "Gather Together" sign with orange burlap bow, a lovely decorative pumpkin and gourd set, 6 festive fall cookie cutters, a spiced apple cider scented candle, a pumpkin spice muffin mix, a matching fall hand towel & potholder, and a sweet cinnamon pumpkin foaming hand soap.  The lucky recipient will be ready for fall!

Christmas Cookie Decorating "Basket"

I made this Christmas Cookie Decorating "Basket" for our school's silent auction.  It turned out so cute!  The "basket" was actually a glass mixing bowl (from Walmart) and it contained:

  • Better Homes & Gardens Very Merry Cookies cookbook (Amazon)
  • Lots of cookie cutters (Amazon b/c Christmas stuff wasn't out when I made the basket) - I taped these all around the glass bowl
  • 3 different spatulas, measuring cups, & measuring spoons (Dollar Tree)
  • 2 sugar cookie mixes (Walmart)
  • Green & red cookie icing plus white icing (Walmart)
  • Christmas sprinkles (Amazon b/c Christmas stuff wasn't out when I made the basket)
  • Cookies for Santa plate & Milk for Santa mug (plate & mug from Big Lots) - I cut white vinyl with my Silhouette using Jennifer Wambach's Cookies for Santa & Milk for Santa designs (I did replace the Santa in the center of the Cookies for Santa design with Sarah Hurley's Santa's sleigh silhouette instead).
Other ideas that I wasn't able to do were: cookie bags for individual packaging, a cookie press, & Christmas apron or pot holders.  I was really happy with how it all turned out!

Gift Idea

This has become my new go-to birthday gift idea when my kids can't give me any other ideas.  It's so easy and fun!  I've also added more to it, made a Family Movie Night tag, and used it as a silent auction basket.

Ideas include:
  • popcorn that comes in its own bucket (or a popcorn bowl from Dollar Tree)
  • movie theater boxed candy
  • mini sprites or other drinks
  • more popcorn and popcorn bags
  • DVDs (there is a $5 bin at Wal-mart)
  • gift card to the local movie theater
This was the present for a little boy who was having a Scooby Doo birthday party: popcorn in a bucket, 2 mini sprites, Scooby Doo stickers, Skittles, M&M's, and 2 Scooby Doo DVDs.

This was the present for a teacher: popcorn bowl, popcorn bags, her favorite drink, candy, popcorn, and DVDs.
